Jennifer Taranto was born and raised in the bayous of St. Bernard Parish and the Greater New Orleans area of Southeast Louisiana. Her deep local roots, combined with decades of entrepreneurial experience, shape a financial practice grounded in trust, clarity, and long-term relationships.
Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and French from Tulane University and completed post-graduate studies in Education at the University of New Orleans and Financial Services at The American College. Since 2002, she has owned and operated multiple businesses, giving her a practical, real-world perspective on the financial decisions business owners and professionals face every day.
She is an Agent with New York Life Insurance Company, a Registered Representative with NYLIFE Securities LLC, and a Financial Advisor and Financial Planner with Eagle Strategies LLC, New York Life’s investment advisory firm. Jennifer is licensed in Life, Health, and Securities and works closely with clients on estate-aware and tax-conscious strategies, using insurance and investment solutions thoughtfully tailored to each client’s goals, values, and circumstances.
At the core of Jennifer’s work is a people-first philosophy. She helps business owners and professionals chart a clear financial course—protecting what they’ve built, navigating complexity, and making informed decisions with confidence. Known for her hands-on, highly personal approach, Jennifer remains directly accessible to clients and prioritizes clear communication and honest conversations over automated systems or one-size-fits-all advice.
Jennifer’s commitment to service and leadership extends beyond her practice. She has served as Sunday School Director, developed and taught Bible studies, and has been actively involved with the Professional Women of St. Tammany, where she served as both President-Elect and President. She is also a member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), reflecting her commitment to ethical standards and professional excellence.
With a background in education, business ownership, and leadership, Jennifer brings both structure and empathy to her work—helping clients simplify complex decisions and move forward with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.
